Lehenga Choli Styles for Traditional Wear

Lehenga Choli Styles for Traditional Wear

Lehenga Choli is a traditional Indian outfit made up of three main pieces: a flared skirt called a lehenga, a fitted blouse known as a choli, and a dupatta.

The outfit is worn for weddings, festivals, family celebrations, and other special occasions. Lehenga Choli designs vary by region, fabric, embroidery, and style. Silk, velvet, cotton, georgette, and chiffon are commonly used. Some designs feature detailed thread work, mirror work, zari, or printed patterns. The wide skirt gives the outfit a graceful shape, while the dupatta can be draped in several ways. It can be paired with traditional jewellery and embroidered footwear.
